Cookie Policy

SecuredStays LLC (a Grimaxca Enterprises LLC Company) · Last updated: March 2026

Plain language summary: SecuredStays uses cookies only to make the platform work — to keep you logged in, process payments securely, and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or sell your data to third parties. We never have and never will.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so you do not have to re-enter it every time you navigate between pages.

Cookies are not programs. They cannot execute code, carry viruses, or access other files on your device. They contain only the information your browser sends to them.

2. Cookies SecuredStays Uses

SecuredStays uses only two categories of cookies: essential and functional. We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.

3. What We Do Not Use

SecuredStays does not use and has never used:

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies (Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, etc.)
  • Cross-site tracking cookies of any kind
  • Analytics platforms that track individual user behavior (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Heap, etc.)
  • Session replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.)
  • Any cookie that sells, shares, or monetizes your data

This is consistent with our core commitment: SecuredStays products are ad-free. We do not allow advertisers to pay to appear in our platform or to access user data for advertising purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

SecuredStays integrates with the following third-party services that may set their own cookies governed by their respective privacy policies. We do not control these cookies but have selected providers with strong privacy practices:

5. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, SecuredStays uses browser local storage to save certain preferences on your device — such as saved listing searches and filter settings. Local storage data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to SecuredStays servers. You can clear local storage at any time through your browser settings.

6. Your Choices

Because SecuredStays uses only essential and functional cookies — none of which are used for advertising or cross-site tracking — we do not display a cookie consent banner. These cookies are required for the platform to function. If you disable them, you will not be able to log in or use core platform features.

You can manage or clear cookies at any time through your browser:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Clearing cookies will sign you out of SecuredStays. Your account and data remain intact — you will simply need to log back in.

7. California Residents (CCPA)

SecuredStays does not sell personal information, including any information collected via cookies. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used. For a full description of data practices, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we add new integrations or change how cookies are used, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. We will notify active members of any material changes via email.
